There is a very strong tradition of football in Mary Immaculate Secondary School. The school has both boys and girls football teams at the different age groups. The girls teams are coached by Ms. Slattery and the boys teams are coached by Mr. Conway.
Over the years the school has had great success both at county and Munster level.
