1st year Junior Boys played on Monday 27th of January in the seeding round for Junior Boys in Waterford. They had 3 tough matches and unfortunately lost each of the games. But they improved in each game and gained more confidence as the games went on. They will now compete in the Shield competition. Players: Flynn Egan, Eoghan Garrihy, Nigel Kelly, Darragh Lowe, James Flanagan, Robert Whyte.
Today the 31st the second year boys travelled to Dunmore, Co. Galway. They played Dunmore in their first match and won in 2 sets, their second game was against Athenry A team and they won again in 2 sets. Their final game was against Athenry B team and they won again in 2 sets. Our boys had some excellent play with beautiful serves and some nice hitting. They will proceed to the Cup Competition. Players: Conor O' Neill, Paddy Haugh (Captain), Jason Howley, John Curtin, Jack Rush, Aidan Kelly, Patrick Normoyle (Sean Stack and Macdara Garrihy missing).
