Huge congratulations to Annie Hynes, second year student, who represented Mary Immaculate at the Interschools Show jumping Competition hosted by Patrician Presentation Fethard. Her mixed team of four, from three other schools including her sister Suzie from Fanore National School were placed Fourth overall.
Individually Annie placed 3rd in the 90cm class, and she won the 1 metre class. The event sponsored by Coolmore Stud and the Equine Warehouse, took place at Garranemore Equestrian Centre at the weekend. Annie competed on her 138cm Connemara Pony Lakeview Jackie Sparrow.
Mary Immaculate is immensely proud of Annie’s achievement, what a fantastic result for her, her team, and our school. We also want to thank Annie's parents and family for their encouragement, continued support, and commitment to Interschools Show Jumping. We wish Annie and Suzie continued success going forward.
