Appointment of Principal.
The principal John O'Loughlin informed the board of management at its meeting on 5 March 2019 that he is retiring on 01 September 2019. In his letter of retirement he thanked the Sisters of Mercy and the Board of Management who appointed him. He said ‘It has been a particular privilege and honour to have been at the helm of Mary Immaculate since August 1993’. He went on to say that he has been ‘ truly blessed to work with the finest of people, members of the various boards, staff, parents, students and community of North West Clare over the past 26 years and look forward to all the work that has yet to be completed before the end of this school year’.
