Green School

Mary Immaculate has successfully obtained a number of Green Flags. In 2020 we had applied for the biodiversity Green Flag and was in the process of fulfilling the criteria for this flag. However that has been put on hold due to Covid 19. The school has contributed to biodiversity so far in a number of ways. We have developed a wellbeing garden ( see photos) which is not only good for the wellbeing of staff and students, it is also attracting a wide range of insects and birds.

During the summer the school has set up beehives. Our thanks to Mr. Gomes for his work on this project
