Welcome Back

Welcome Back

Dear Students Parents and Guardians,

Wishing everyone a welcome return to on line learning tomorrow morning Monday, February 22 at 8.55am. We do hope you have had a restful and enjoyable midterm and we are looking forward to having all students on board for what will be a familiar return to our virtual timetable and the continuity of teaching and learning on line.

Attendance and Engagement are key factors again moving forward, and Year Heads will continue to monitor this closely. Live classes will also continue to feature widely in our approach and homework will be factored into class engagement.

Further information regarding State Examinations and a phased return to schools will be communicated to all our school community once we receive official information and guidance from the Department of Education.

Wishing you all a successful academic half term ahead. Continue to do your best and apply yourself to your work, despite the challenges, to the best of your ability.

You have all adapted extremely well to on line learning, I appreciate it is not easy, and I commend you all on the tremendous start you have made.

If you have any concerns please chat to your teacher, year head or email the school management on We are all here to help and support.

Remember Together we are stronger, and Together we will continue to respond to what lies ahead in an informed, clear and consistent way, ensuring all our students are progressing along their educational journey in a supported and happy environment.

Kind regards and best wishes, Ms Hynes and all the Staff of Mary Immaculate Secondary School.
