Last weekend nine of our students from Céim ar Chéim went to Oireachtas na Samhna in Killarney.
As many as 10,000 people attended this cultural event which celebrates Ireland’s traditional music, art and storytelling traditions. This event provides a platform for the traditional arts, the festival plays an important role in Irish cultural life and affords an opportunity for people from Gaeltacht areas and Irish speakers from non-Gaeltacht areas to come together.
