About Mary Immaculate: Founded in 1947 by the Sisters of Mercy, Mary Immaculate Secondary School has been a beacon of education in the Burren Region. From our beginnings in Tivoli House to becoming one of the first co-educational voluntary secondary schools in Ireland, we’ve shaped generations of students.

Principal Mona Hynes: A proud past pupil and the first female lay Principal, Mona Hynes leads with compassion, faith, and dedication. Her vision ensures that every student feels safe, belongs, and thrives in our nurturing environment.

Join us as we celebrate 75 years of excellence, memories, and community spirit!

Tickets will be on sale through Eventbrite shortly: watch this space for details.

We hope to create a gallery of photographs from throughout the years which will be found through the "75th Anniversary" tab on the home page. We will let you know when this has been started.
