Local businesswoman Megan White is making a significant impact on Mary Immaculate Secondary
School Lisdoonvarna's School Volleyball teams. As a strong advocate for sports development and the
founder of Runsafe, Megan has generously contributed to support the team's journey to the All
Ireland Semi Final, scheduled for November 30th at the University of Limerick.
The Senior School girls have secured a spot in the All Ireland Semi Final, facing tough competition
from North Anglia IS, Loreto College Kilkenny, and Colaiste An Eachreidh. The local community
eagerly anticipates this exciting encounter.
In addition, the U16 B School girls are gearing up for their All Ireland Semi Final in the coming week,
with enthusiastic support from the community. Looking forward, the Junior Boys and Girls, along with
the First Year league competitions, are set to kick off in the new year, promising an action-packed
season for the school's volleyball teams.
The continued success of these teams is attributed to the unwavering support of the local club and
dedicated coaching from Burren Volleyball Club coaches Dympna O'Kane and Leigh O'Connell.
Mary Immaculate Secondary School Lisdoonvarna expresses gratitude to Megan White,
acknowledging her generosity and dedication to promoting sports excellence among the youth. Her
support exemplifies the power of community engagement in nurturing the talents of the next
generation.
